Milton Centre for the Arts

The Milton Centre for the Arts (MCA) is the community's cornerstone for creativity! This state-of-the-art facility offers exciting performing, visual, media and literary arts experiences for all ages, thanks to the support of the Governments of Canada and Ontario, the Town of Milton's Investment in the Arts Campaign as well as community and corporate donors.

The Milton Centre for the Arts is owned and operated by the Corporation of the Town of Milton.

Mattamy velodrome

Mattamy National Cycling Centre

The velodrome is the first-ever UCI-regulated, class 1 indoor velodrome in Canada, and only the second in North America. It features a 250-metre timber track with two 42-degree angle banks. The velodrome is the home of Cycling Canada’s national track cycling program, with seating for 1,500. The facility also includes community recreational space including a cardio and strength training fitness centre, group fitness studio, 300 metre walking/jogging track and three sport courts for volleyball, basketball, and badminton.

Fall escarpment

Escarpment Country™

Escarpment Country™, centred around the town of Milton, Ontario, encompasses 380 square kilometers of lush countryside, including the Niagara Escarpment and the watershed areas of 12 Mile and 16 Mile Creeks. Escarpment Country™ draws over 2 million visitors every year!

Sports enthusiasts are attracted by the area's hiking and biking trails, rock climbing, golf courses, lakes and streams, and in winter, the cross country and downhill skiing and snowboarding. Families visit Escarpment Country™ for the natural and man-made attractions, fairs, festivals and farm markets.

Conservation Halton

Your neighbourhood conservation authority, Conservation Halton, works to protect, restore and manage natural resources in the watershed from lake to escarpment.

Spanning 1000 Sq. Km of land, 17 flowing creeks, approximately 26 km of Lake Ontario shoreline, extensive forest cover and 80 kilometres of Ontario's Niagara Escarpment, the mandate for Conservation Halton is to create avenues for sustainable synergy between the natural world and the 450,000 residents that make up the Halton watershed.

Downtown Milton

Downtown Milton Business Improvement Area

The Downtown Milton Business Improvement Area (DMBIA) was established in 1977 and is an area defined and mandated under municipal legislation. The role of the BIA, as with other Business Improvement Areas in Ontario and across Canada is to allow property owners and business operators to join together and, with the support of the municipality organize, finance and promote economic development in the BIA district.

Specific tasks include beautification, event management, marketing and enhancing relationships with government and community organizations.

Mohawk

Woodbine and Mohawk

Formerly known as the Ontario Jockey Club, Mohawk Racetrack is a harness racing track in Campbellville, Ontario owned by the Woodbine Entertainment Group.

Mohawk regularly hosts a slew of fast-paced stakes events. In the spring, events like the Youthful Pacing Series, the Mohawk Pacing Series, and the Princess Pacing Series take centre stage. In autumn, stakes include the Campbellville Trot, the Milton Stakes and the Harvest Stakes.
